The moment should the amazing wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed in the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Talking about the latter, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a wedding and guests do look forward to hearing them, speaking about them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.

We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, throughout the meal after the meal, however it is of the strong opinion the wedding speeches needs to be delivered following the meal. I understand that for a lot of marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father in the father of the bride speech (the 5 main speakers), they’d choose to hold the wedding speeches prior to the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (some of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and the way a lot of them (and indeed the marriage venue staff) would like the marriage speeches to get delivered as soon as the meal for many reasons, some of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not listening to wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which could be prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches ahead of the meal in addition to their could be a delay of 15 minutes one.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches work as the transition in the meal on the dancing (broke and alone happening as soon as the meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ being shared in regards to the Bride & Groom then they are fully aware they are able to get up, move around, come out, take a stroll, navigate to the bar…)
It’s a challenge for parents of the Bride & Groom to communicate in public, the majority of them wouldn’t be used of it. So, they could, should they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.

There should be some kind of formal wedding speech(es) after the meal…
