A new 2016 Christmas rock song may be written, composed and after that recorded in the Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ using the main objective of bringing awareness and exposure to the Phuket Charities and Orphanages that Mark supports.
The tunes name is: ‘I’m returning for Christmas’ and also the songs genre is surely an unique up-tempo Rock/POP song. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo guide of ‘I’m returning for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has had the demo guide since that time awaiting this chance to record.
In August 2016 Mark started film process and used session musicians to record the song over the 6 week period. The tunes consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musician are from the Philippines, such as the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’. Although ‘I’m Returning home For Phuket charity was studio upon Phuket the mixing, engineering and mastering was over in the us due to Mark wanted the top result and quality of sound. The song is ready to be followed and downloaded by visiting the Tsunami Day website.
The primary goal of recording ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’ is to bring as many people towards the ‘Tsunami Day’ website as possible, then hopefully in-turn they shall be kind enough to give to 1 or every one of the Phuket charities and also download the song.
One other main goal is enough downloads from the song to invest in and hang up Mark Hopkins with open stage and recording / teaching studio on Phuket, that can offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from your local schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is just not open yet though the web site is below (QingTing means: ‘Dragon Fly’ in Chinese if you’re wondering)
About: Mark set-up the ‘Tsunami Day’ site to promote his song ‘Tsunami Day’ that was inspired from his very own personal experiences because i was moving into Patong back in 2004 if the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Returning home For Christmas’ the song ‘Tsunami Day’ also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web there is numerous ways to help with a Phuket Hotels and cheap flights to Thailand and Asia booking system. Every penny helps.
