Using the release of the newest 2 wheel self balancing electric scooter, 2015 may be an exciting year for gadget fans. Across the world, folks are taking to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to create photos and videos of themselves zipping around for this 2 wheel contraption which basically looks like a board having a wheel on either sides.


A mixture of a skateboard and a segway, this mini Segway (without the handle) type thing is blowing up in popularity, fuelled to some extent from the volume of celebrities that were seen using one. From Attacking young boys to Soulja Boy, Kendall Jenner to Jamie Foxx, all have tried their hand as of this nifty little gadget, and appear to own had a lots of fun doing this.

Nicknamed the ‘swegway’ (due to it’s likeness for the Segway, but a ‘cooler’ version) nobody is sure entirely where this specific 2 wheel scooter comes from or who invented the very first. Probably it comes from some factory in China. The initial glimpses we got than it in media were an item referred to as IO Hawk, a scooter that will set you back an impressive $1800.
