2016 Christmas Rock n Roll music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock-POP song has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key intention of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to studio record the song over a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the best outcome and quality. The music is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day site that we can and then ideally in-turn they will be kind enough to help to one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
The other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the track to fund and set up a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will present free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to promote his song Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Hotel and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
