Double cut burrs are employed on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminium, soft steel as well as for all non-metal materials for example stone, plastics, hardwood, and ceramic. This cut has more cutting edges and may remove material faster.
Double-cut leaves a smoother finish than single-cut due to producing smaller chips as they cut away the fabric. Use double-cut for medium-light stock removal, deburring, fine finishing, cleaning, smooth finishes, and creating smaller chips. Double cut carbide burrs will be the most widely used and work with most applications.
