Having a strong family belief in Lord Ganesha, this year ace sculptor Nishant Sudhakaran (Founder at Leo Enterprises) has surpassed all imaginative goals to produce a six foot Ganesha idol with automobile scraps.
An expert in creating sculptors beyond metal scrap, whenever a client approached Nishant to produce one among Lord Ganesha, he couldn’t resist. He believes his baby baby girl can be an response to his prayers to Ganpati/ Ganesha, he believed this came as an possibility to express his passion towards higher power.

Inspite of the short notice, an undertaking that requires a commitment of nearly 60 – 70 days, he completed this magnificent piece in just a month. Tirelessly working day and night with his team, he admits that “Ganpati Bappa removes all obstacles.”
The thick sized, heavy automobile parts must be handpicked in order that they could easily fit in being a jigsaw puzzle. The hardest and challenging part was the process of hammering and bending the various components to give the desire form of one’s body. Sourcing flat parts from various vendors put into task of executing the job in the deadline, which however we managed to accomplish.
A 6 feet in height “The Lord Ganesha” sculpture, it can be made purely from various automobile scrap parts. These parts are almost 10 to 15 mm thick that had been bent & welded together and meticulously shaped to make it a whole metal sculpture. This Ganpati Idol has been created from over 850 KGs of automobile car parts like disk brakes, fenders, clutch plates, flat gears, shaft gears, spark plugs, connecting rods, automobile chains, crank shafts only to mention a few. The Mooshak (Mouse/ Undir Mama) can also be made from gears, nuts, bolts and in addition having a piston block along with a wrought iron tail.
With the 6 foot Ganpati created out of automobile scrap for his client, the subsequent problem for Nishant is a ten to eleven foot kinetic wind sculpture.
