With all the discharge of the newest 2 wheel self balancing electric scooter, 2015 may be a thrilling year for gadget fans. Across the world, individuals are taking to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to create photos and videos of themselves zipping around with this 2 wheel contraption which basically appears to be a board with a wheel on both sides.

A mix of a skateboard as well as a segway, this mini Segway (devoid of the handle) type thing is blowing up in popularity, fuelled simply from the amount of celebrities that have been seen one. From Usher to Soulja Boy, Kendall Jenner to Jamie Foxx, have the ability to tried their hand as of this nifty little gadget, and seem to get had a lots of fun doing this.

Nicknamed the ‘swegway’ (as a consequence of it’s likeness for the Segway, but a ‘cooler’ version) nobody is sure entirely where this type of self balance scooter descends from or who invented the first. Probably it descends from some factory in China. The first glimpses we were treated to from it on television were something called the IO Hawk, a scooter that sells for a whopping $1800. This is last January of 2015. Ever since then many cheaper versions of the product attended available on the market and also the average price at this time is apparently around $500.

What makes it work? Basically you get up on both the panels and shift one’s body weight slightly forward or slightly back plus it senses this bodyweight change and moves backwards or forwards. It may also turn left or right. This self balance scooter is proving to be so popular that it is being touted as the personal mobility device into the future. Who wants to walk when you’re able to glide, right? Plus it’s really a lot faster than walking, travelling at speeds of 6mph to 10mph.
