A brand new 2016 Christmas rock tune has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key intention of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session players to studio record the music durring a six week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The song is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to at least one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
Another primary goal is to be able enough downloads of the tune to fund and setup a Phuket live music pub with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, which will offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to promote his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Villa and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
