2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key intention of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session players to studio record the music over a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the USA as a result of Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The song is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then hopefully in-turn they will be kind enough to help to 1 or all of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
The other absolute goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to help fund and set up a Phuket live music club with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to advertise his music Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Hotel and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to thank his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
