2016 Xmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Christmas rock song has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a unique up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session musicians to studio record the song durring a 6 week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the most effective result and quality. The song is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to help to one or all the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the song to fund and set up a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood schools and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ is not open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his tune Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to help including a Phuket island Resort and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
