2016 Xmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session musicians to record the song over a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they will be good enough to donate to 1 or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other main goal is to get enough downloads of the track to fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that will present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s schools and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his track Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Resort and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
